Ingredients:
16 oz Dried tomatoes in oil
1/4 cup Pine nuts
1/4 cup Peeled almonds
Basil qb
Preparations:
To prepare sun-dried tomato pesto, add sun-dried tomatoes into the mixer with the oil in which they are preserved, add the pine nuts, peeled almonds and basil leaves. Blend everything until you get a grainy mixture. At this point your dried tomato pesto is ready to be used!
Chef tips:
I don’t suggest to add salt in sun-dried tomato pesto, because dried tomatoes are already preserved in oil and salt.
